Introduction
NIIGHTMARE Esports (“NIIGHTMARE”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) is an esports organization based in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website or submitting a form, you accept the practices described here.
Information We Collect
We only collect information that you choose to give us:
- Tryout & recruitment data — your name or in-game name (IGN), email, contact or social handles, game and role, region, age range, and any details you include in an application.
- Contact & enquiry data — the name, email, organization, and message you provide when contacting us.
- Shop & delivery data — the products, sizes and quantities you order; your name, phone or WhatsApp number, courier, province, city and branch; order reference, payment status, payment slip and any shipping proof or parcel image.
- Notification data — if you opt in, your browser push endpoint and cryptographic subscription keys, linked only to the order IDs saved on that device.
- Technical data — basic, privacy-respecting analytics (such as anonymized page views) and a language preference stored locally in your browser. We do not run invasive ad-tracking.
How We Use Your Information
- To review and evaluate tryout and recruitment applications.
- To contact applicants about the status of their application.
- To respond to sponsorship, media, and general enquiries.
- To reserve, verify, prepare and deliver shop orders, prevent duplicate or fraudulent payment declarations, and contact you about fulfillment.
- To send order-status notifications when you explicitly opt in.
- To operate, maintain, and improve this website.
We never sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decisions that affect your legal rights.
Recruitment Applicant Confidentiality
We know that applying for a tryout means trusting us with your information. We treat recruitment data as confidential:
- It is accessed only by authorized NIIGHTMARE management and coaching staff involved in selection.
- It is used solely to evaluate your application — nothing else.
- It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
- It is kept only as long as the recruitment cycle needs, then deleted on request (see Sections 07 and 08).
Service Providers
We use trusted providers to operate the service, including Vercel for hosting and analytics, Supabase for the database and private order-evidence storage, web-push delivery providers, and our optional form-handling service. They process data on our behalf under their own security obligations. We do not sell your data or share it for third-party advertising, except where disclosure is required by law.
Data Security
We use encrypted HTTPS connections, restricted administrator access, a private storage bucket for payment slips and shipping evidence, and short-lived signed links when an authorized screen needs to display those files. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
For shop orders, personal contact and delivery details, order references, push-notification links, payment slips and shipping images are deleted or anonymized automatically 30 days after the order was created. We retain only non-identifying sales facts — dates, final status, items, sizes, quantities, prices, total and currency — for business reporting. Unpaid expired reservations may be deleted entirely. Other data is kept only as long as its purpose requires. You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.
Your Rights
At any time, you may request to:
- access the personal information we hold about you;
- correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- delete your information; or
- withdraw consent you previously gave.

Cookies & Local Storage
This site stores your language preference and, when you use the shop, a My Orders list containing order IDs and the details you entered on that device. Notification permission and push subscriptions are controlled by your browser. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies. Clearing browser storage removes the local list but does not cancel a paid order; contact us if you need help with server-held data.
Children’s Privacy
If you are under 18, please get consent from a parent or legal guardian before submitting an application or sharing personal information with us. We will delete information we learn was provided by a minor without proper consent.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
